Key of She

Biography

Key of She is an all-female (duh!) pop-jazz-country a cappella group from New Jersey that started in 2001 and a year later won “Audience Favorite” and 2nd place honors at the New York Harmony Sweepstakes. In 2002, Key of She opened for Ray Charles, and in 2004, they appeared on The Jane Pauley Show. In 2007, Just Plain Folks, the organization that doles out “the Grammies for the other 98%,” awarded Key of She 6th place honors (woo hoo!) for their version of Joanne Osborne's Spider Web. The group performs original arrangements of everything from Cole Porter to Sting, Etta James to the Dixie Chicks, the ridiculous to the sublime and has released two CDs - Our First Time and In The Key of She.
