...reverb obsessed hoodlums, hell-bent on destruction!
The quote above sums up the reality that is ’Kill, Baby…Kill!’ quite well…five young(ish) guys with equal parts love for retro rock and instrumental music, as well as the horror and drive-in culture of the late 1950’s and early 1960’s.
Mixing modern influences with the classic sounds of artists such as Link Wray, Dick Dale, The Ventures and Duane Eddy, ‘Kill, Baby…Kill!’ has carved out a niche in the Southeastern indi-rock scene, delivering a horror themed, reverb drenched, all instrumental performance that is unmatched.
Since 2010, ‘Kill, Baby…Kill!’ has toured the southeast, slowly developing a devoted following. During the next year, plans are being made to take the madness across the country to California, as well as the possibility of a short European tour.
On Friday, May 13th, 2011, a new milestone will be reached. ‘Kill, Baby…Kill’ will be releasing their debut record, entitled ‘Sometimes They Come Back’. The short-form record was recorded at The Factory in Atlanta, GA and was produced by legendary front man Joe King from the seminal punk rock band ‘The Queers’, as well as by Dan Dixon of the band ‘Dropsonic’.
