Kimmon Waldruff has performed his distinctive solo guitar style at music festivals, night clubs, coffee houses, children's camps, fundraising events, and on several NPR stations throughout the United States and Canada. His insightful lyrics and clean guitar acumen articulate universal verities that resonate with both young and mature audiences. Fearlessly revealing lessons learned, Kimmon shares the good times and the bad with his audience - sometimes playing emotive instrumental pieces with classical guitar precision, followed by a robust rock and roll ballad, keeping his audience guessing.
Originally from Massena, New York, just south of the Canadian border on the St. Lawrence River, Kimmon studied classical guitar and music theory before moving to Ottowa, Ontario, where he spent several years writing and performing original music and sometimes appearing with rock bands. Returning to the States, he now lives in Winchester, Virginia, where he continues to play at various venues and is completing his third CD.
