I can't do this. I hate writing these things. I'm not famous yet. I'm not known world-wide. Nobody really needs to know the ins and outs. Basically, I'm a 21 year old rapper from Kent. I'm not a gangsta rapper, I'm not a pop rapper and I'm not particularly good at customer service so if you have a problem with my music, chances are you're not gonna get much of a response.
I've been making music since I can remember.
That's a lie, I can remember things before I started making music. Why do people use that expression? It's pretty deceiving, considering you started collecting memories and thoughts from a fairly young age. Just say that really, "I started making music when I was fairly young". That'll do. I was probably between the age of 8 or 9, I'm not so sure. Recorded my first song when I was 13, but I'd been dabbling on the karaoke machine for a couple of years before that, making my own tapes and flogging them off to people in school. By "flog" I mean "force" and by "people" I mean "anyone who would take them".
I've appeared on various radio stations, topped some internet charts and also been handed a fair few recording contracts and distribution deals in the past. People ask me "why aren't you signed?". To be honest, I've never even bothered. I did when I was a kid, always bugging labels with my cassettes. In all honesty, I kind of got complacent and got used to just uploading my songs to sites like MySpace and SoundClick, instead of gigging and trying to get out there.
In 2009 I started a project which was to be a free download mixtape. Now, 2 years on, I've decided to release the material as my first solo album. It will be on iTunes, Amazon MP3 etc but I'll also be selling hard copies from my official website. So if you're old school and prefer having a CD to hold and cherish, rather than this new-age digital idea of just MP3's, then visit the site soon to get your copy.
