BIOGRAPHY
Kryptik-X is the stage name of 26 year old male rapper, Dennis E. Schwartz Jr. DJ is the name I prefer to be called when I'm not doing music. I was born and raised in West Middlesex, PA but I currently reside in Farrell, PA. It's certainly not the worst neighborhood to live in but its not the greatest either. It is getting up there in crime though. I'm the oldest of 4 kids to Dennis and Cynthia Schwartz. I work at McDonalds when I'm not producing or making music. I love music. I love all aspects of the creating process. It's absolutely thrilling and satisfactory when the piece has been finished. You get a sense of accomplishment.
I was raised around music all my life. My mother listened to Country and the Oldies and my dad listened to Rock 'N Roll back when it was good. I started writing at a young age. I started with country music. Inspired by Neal McCoy at first. When I hit da mid-teens I started listen to rap music. I than turned my attention to making music like Will Smith. I started to write pop/dance rap. More or less songs for the clubs and dance floor. I absolutely love music and love to listen to it and study it. Although I'm disappointed in todays rap game. 90% of these rappers out there are fake and do not even live the life they have claimed to once live.
It wasn't until 2000 when I became a Christian that I found my niche in life. The gift of rhyming for Christ. My music is from the heart and it is real. I do not claim to be something that I am not. With that being said, my life hasn't been the greatest but it hasn't been the worst. My family never beat me or neglected me. I was loved always had food and a roof over my head. But I did have trouble in my life wit anger issues and hatred towards the world. I had once dreamed of becoming the most notorious serial killer in history. Jesus came into my life and redirected my dreams and my life. It's because of Him I am where I'm at today and I give Him all the glory and praise.
I brought a song into an outreach program held at the Cave. I showed it to a girl who volunteered there and she challenged me to write a Christian song. A week later I wrote my first Christian Rap Song called In Gods Hands. At a small show I performed it for da first time. From than on I began writing numerous Christian songs. I've performed them several times at a couple different churches but never a full performance. I've only performed a couple songs for different programs including a Back 2 School Bash, Talent Show and Christmas, Easter, and Thanksgiving Programs. I hope to start performing live at shows here real soon. I really enjoy it. It's more than fun. It's exhilarating to be able to do this.
After I took a break for awhile, I began producing my first Album, Game Over which is now for sale. Six years later I've finally released it. It took so long. I put in so much hard work into this album. My 2nd Album which is a biography of my life will entitled Deadman's Alley. Production begins in a few days. I have released 3 singles onto the internet from my first CD. Hit Da Floor, Wannabe, and Life and Death Pt. 1 Feat. Kayzo. I can honestly say they are all three hot songs and show a different mood and style in each one. Hit Da Floor is currently my best song yet. It has reached the highest on Soundclicks Christian Rap and General Hip Hop Charts, #4 and #84. Wannabe reached #35 on Christian Charts and #381 on General Hip Hop. Life and Death is soaring fast though and continues to rise. #33 Currently on Christian Hip Hop.
I bring a fresh new style to the Hip-Hop game. I mix it up quite a bit. I don't just praise God in all my songs. I bring a message. I bring it hard and often. I'm talented and raw to the bone. I speak my mind. I don't beat around the bush. I say whatever I want, whenever I want and wherever I want. Nobody can shut me up. I use the freedom of speech to the fullest extent. I'm crazy, wild and fun but I can be serious. I give mercy, love and hope to all who will listen. I love making music for Jesus and I wouldn't have it any other way. This is my life and I love doing it. I'm not anything special. I'm not the best. I'm just an average man with a unique talent.
It's time for a new way in Hip Hop. It's time for a breath of fresh air. That is something that I do. I do not curse or swear in my lyrics. I may sound controversial but all my songs are filled with a message. And that message is Jesus Christ is the Lord and Savior. He is the Alpha and Omega the beginning and the last. Through Him, all things were made.
I hope to share the message with people all around the world. I pray that they accept it with joy. I wish to help as many people as I can by showing them what I've been through and what I'm going through. I struggle daily and I will share my trials with the world. I will confiess my sin to all to show them that I'm a sinner and its only by Faith in Christ that my sins are forgiven. I want people to know that Jesus Christ is the option that you have been looking for. He is the One who can make everything better. He will give you strength to fight, hope to live, and peace through the storms. I want to thank all you hataz who email me your hateful words. It's you that keeps me going. To the fans, if it weren't for the fans we wouldn't be here. Musicians wouldn't have any reason to make music if people weren't listening.
I hope you all are blessed by music is some form. I hope you like it. I hope you appreciate all the hard work I put in to every one of my songs. May the grace and peace of our Lord Jesus Christ shower down on you. May He be your guide. May His love surround you. May Christ bless the works of your hands. Thank you all sincerely from the bottom of my heart for reading this. I love you all and God Bless you and your family and friends. God Bless the World.
