Ksenona was born in Chita – provincial Siberian city beyond Baikal lake.
During a music lesson, she heard one girl from high school rehearsing a song to be performed at the “Last bell ring” (graduation celebration). Something deep inside Ksenona told her she needed to also perform. Dreams really do matter when you’re confident in what you should do.
Her father was an art-manager of the local club-restaurant and he had a really big jukebox of instrumentals at home. When Ksenona’s parents were gone she would immediately start practicing singing while listening to her father's records. By her graduation period her parents had persuaded her to get a main profession “for life”.
So, Ksenona entered The Baikal State University of Economics and Law to study in the department of “World economics”, with a focus on world economic relations, economics, Chinese and English languages. Fortunately, languages were her other passion but eventually music would become her main focus.
In 2010 Ksenona moved to Moscow and started professional singer career. Seventeen songs were recorded on three languages – russian, chinese and english in that period. Hard work with a vocal coach and choreographer, promo-gigs, competitions...
Last winter she won the knockout competition and she got to Russian National Final to Eurovision Song Contest. Recently a video was shot with russian singer Vitas, who is extremely famous in China. The story is just beginning.
