LOBO IV

Biography

LOBO IV, known as "The WOLFPACK" to their fans, came onto the Regional Mexican music scene in 1996 with the release of its debut CD, Indomable. The CD was recorded with Q-Records and distributed under EMI Latin. LOBO IV's impact was immediate with the release of it first single, "La Chica Sabrosura", an up tempo cumbia/merengue style song. The release coincided with a video release, as well. With the catchy song and video, LOBO IV soon became known as "The guys in the box".

LOBO IV's next releases off the CD were "Tu Prieto" and "Ven Conmigo". A video was also released for "Ven Conmigo". Both songs proved to be popular with their fans and helped with their growing popularity at the time.

In 1998, LOBO IV released its second CD, Tu Cárcel. To this day, it is a much sought after CD. Tu Cárcel is a mix of Conjunto with a touch of LOBO IV's progressive style. LOBO IV's first release off of the Tu Cárcel CD was the title track, "Tu Cárcel". A fan favorite, this song is an perfect example of LOBO IV's signature style. LOBO IV's second release off the Tu Cárcel CD was the song and video for "La Que Se Fue".

After years of contemplation, LOBO IV regrouped in July of 2007. LOBO IV realized that there was still a fan base wanting to hear their brand of music. The group looks forward to releasing its new CD "LOBO IV - AMBICIÓN" in October 2009. With the new release LOBO IV hopes to reunite with their longtime fans, as well as meet new fans.
