L.R. Lane(Born 1950 - ) developed his musical composition style as a result of providing original songs in bands and developing compositions to use for dance classes. It was during accompanying ballet classes that he met his wife Carol. They teamed up quickly after each showcasing their work in a dance studio event where they learned that they each had a proclivity for creating original works. Lee’s skills in composition and piano classical technique and Carol’s classical technique in ballet became their tools for creating a repertoire of original works which they honed and performed in many different venues for a decade and half.
Aware of the need for a context for their performance, L.R. Lane penned a story called, "All in a Day’s Dance" based on the idea relating to Shakespeare’s quote that- “All the world’s a stage”. As the main character reflects on her “Enchanted Memoirs”, a virtual theater evolves which mirrors her thoughts and emotions and becomes her personalized suite - an adventure of an orchestral suite of melodies.
L.R. Lane’s inventiveness has served him well in creating a new sound for his electric piano sound which blends with the tracks of mainly stringed instrumentation. The prominent melodies throughout this suite within the context of the story link to the main character’s yearning for moving forward and getting the most out of her aspirations.
