Ora and Ola Lane was born in Edna, Texas to Lee & Rose Lane. They are twins and have eight siblings. They strated singing at age 12 with two of their older sisters. Ivra and Callie. However, after graduating from high school they attended college in San Antoino, Texas where they continued to sing in church. They both moved to Detroit where they attended sevenal universities in Detriot.However, they continue to sing in different community choirs as well as church choirs. Ola often song as a Sunday morning Soloist at church and Ora often spoke as a lay speaker.Ora play organ and Piano. Ola Plays Piano and Guitar. Ola States, that singing have always been my hobby, that's my way of talking to God other than praying. Ora state that singing is my way of giving praise and worship to our Lord and savior Jesus Christ.
Ora posses a PhD in Human Service; Ola have a PhD in Organizational Management. They are very active in church and Nursing Home Ministries.Ora is a christain
counselor as well a Guidance Couselor,After teaching a Wayne County community in Nursing ,she retired and Opened her Private Counseling pracitce,after five years she decided her desire was to bcome a Writer,composer/auther. She was presented in 1988 with a plaque in recognition and appreciation for her outstanding service as Chairperson, Mission Ninistry for the spiritual enhancement of the church. Ora states that she consider herself a discisple for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ; will never stop he;ping others until God gives her the word that it is finished. OLa was given a certificate of recognition for her outstanding Accomplishment in Evangelism Minisiries,She was also presented with a plaque from the VA Medical Center Detroit for her exceptional Performance During the 1996-1997 rating period; She was honored by Madison Who's Who as one of its newest members to appear in the 2007-2008 edition of Madison Who's Who of Professionals, having demonstrated exemplary achievement and distinguished contributions to the business community.She state life have been good and my work is not finished until the my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ say well done my good and faithful servant welcome Home.
