Latrama (Madrid, 1979) is a spanish producer, multi-instrument player and DJ known as a key global mixer of traditional world music sounds with electronic breaks. As member of Chandra Sound System collective since the end of 90s Latrama has been spreading his particular way of music understanding in many different forms and places of expression including DJ residences, live shows, radio broadcasting, TV advertising and reels production, music conferences, commercial releases, small clubs, big festivals and collaborations as indian tabla player or remixer. All these bidirectional musical gifts have been shared and shaped with the audience in places like Madrid, Berlin, Mumbai, London, Barcelona, Lisbon, Beijing, San Francisco, Luxembourg or Amsterdam among others. His DJ sets combine a perfectly upbeat & balanced mix of broken beats, fat basslines and global root sounds which always surprise and engage to the dance floor:

Latrama has been the first artist releasing an augmented reality music CD. It allows to DJ the CD physically in front of the webcam (!) This CD packaged a world beats journey where asian and iberican elements get a highlighted prominence, global drums and electronic breaks.
