Laura Allen first picked up the guitar at age 10, and by the age of 13 she had begun leading worship and writing music, becoming one of the key worship leaders in the fellowship that she attends in Dallas, TX. By the time she was 16, she produced her first album, "Standing", and at age 21, having graduated from Christ for the Nations Institute, just recently released her sophmore album, "Walk With Me", that is available for purchase, along with her first album, on CDBaby.com and on iTunes.
Laura's songs portray her delicate innocence and unique perspective of the Father, weaving literally lover-to-Lover songs. Her lyrics are reminiscent of Rich Mullins--poetic, sweet, endearing, and thought provoking. While simple, her music is rich and passionate, layered with the breathy touch of the piano, strings, and upright bass combined with an intense ambient jazz and rock fusion that is truly unique and refreshing for any listener. Her voice conveys a wide range of colorful tones, whether it be reaching for the heavens or whispering reveries.
