In the tradition of balladeer poets like Jackson Browne, Lawrence Lynn is a singer/songwriter of timeless imagery who writes and plays unique folk, folk-rock and folk-pop with a tinge of retro, and his acoustic-driven ballads will tantalize your memory with traces of Neil Young, Bob Dylan and Paul Simon.
Lawrence reaches people with his distinct voice, and his songs about daily life may comfort and disturb you, make you laugh and cry and renew or awaken your urge for spiritual freedom.
With a few years of formal training in piano, Lynn began his early musical career in the coffeehouses and auditoriums of Davis, California. He performs in the greater Los Angeles area in such venues as The Talking Stick Coffee Lounge in Venice, CA, Borders Books Hollywood and Arnie's Cafe & Coffee House (a local venue featuring lots of hot talent). .
