Le Mood

Le MOOD is a group of musicians from Florida who all shared the same dreams of Rock n Roll, bright lights, and tall buildings.

Lead by singer and primary songwriter Marco Argiro, who moved to New York City five years ago to follow this dream, Le MOOD began with Marco playing solo acoustic shows at iconic NYC music venues including CBGB, the Bitter End and the Delancey. Soon after, Marco decided it was time to put the band together.

First, he called on his cousin and multi-instrumentalist, Corinne Callen, to lend her talents. High school friend and guitarist Kenton Langstroth joined shortly thereafter to round out the core. Finally bassist Brian Karp and drummer Rob Draghi came on board to complete the band’s current lineup. Since this time, they've been busy touring independently, releasing a number of EPs, and making a name for themselves across the US and UK.

The band’s last studio EP, "Synaesthesia," won over the hearts of college radio stations nationwide—debuting at number 72 on the CMJ charts. Tracks from the EP could be found everywhere from Jet Blue aircraft radio to MTV’s The Real World and IFC's Dinner with the Band. CMT also featured their song "Music" as the soundtrack to their 2009 Summer of Music Promos.

The band’s many memorable performances include showcases at Manchester’s (UK) In The City Fest in 2008, and shows during NYC’s CMJ Festival in 2007, 2008 and 2009. Le MOOD has been honored to share the stage with many talented artists such as Stellastarr, Simian Mobile Disco, Asteroids Galaxy Tour, Locksley, Mew, and Tom Morello (the Nightwatchman).

Le MOOD’s loyal fan base, known as Le MOOD Army, continues to grow in numbers thanks to the band’s high energy live performances, critically acclaimed releases, and their grassroots style DIY work ethic.

The band is currently promoting their debut full length Adventures In Stereo, which is due out January 2011 on Outright Rock Records.
