Leanne Pearson has been described by industry folk as level headed, mature, sweet and very talented. This Canadian country rocker walks on stage with a pretty dress and a big smile, than shatters your expectations as she tears up the stage with her captivating and energetic stage presence. There are no boundaries to Leanne, who is not afraid to play songs by male artists like Trace Adkins, Jason Aldean, Tom Petty and Luke Bryan.
If her name is familiar, that’s because she was a Top 6 finalist on Country Music Televisions, CMT’s "Big In A Small Town” and this past summer won the annual talent contest at Dauphin’s Country Fest.
In April 2011, Leanne graduated with a B.A. from the University of Manitoba, where she is on the Dean’s Honour List. If it is not enough that Leanne has brains, beauty and musical talent, she is also one tough cookie with a black belt in Tae Kwon Do.
"Leanne has the maturity as well as the talent to be a huge star in the music business. I have not seen anyone else in country music that can put on a live concert like Leanne, pull it off with great vocals and maintain so much energy the entire show” - Leanne’s Manager, Aaron Pritchett
“Leanne comes across as such a level-headed kid, has a great voice, a great smile... I think we just may see a lot more of her” - CMT’s Joel Stewart
Leanne’s debut EP ‘Serendipity’ was produced by multi award winning Bart McKay. Her second single “Get Outta My Heart” is currently at Canadian Country Radio. This hell-bent-for-success prairie girl is setting herself up for a long future in the music industry!
