LINDA GREEP is one talented lady who has been singing and performing for people since the age of three. Her love of music started early with a father who was a talented pianist. Their home was always filled with music, especially during the holidays. She has always loved holiday music and has fond memories of a special Christmas Eve when she was very young. With the snow falling, the bells ringing and the organ playing beautiful music, she was thrilled to be one of the singing Angels for the Christmas Eve pageant. Linda spent years performing with choral groups in high school and college and caroling on Christmas Eve with friends, so when the lyrics and melody of her song came to her one day, she knew she had to record and share it.
Her degree in Speech Arts Education led to award-winning careers in musical theatre, public relations, professional speaking and television. She has been a leading lady in over 20 musical theatre productions, and also performed with a musical cabaret group doing dinner theatre for two years in Portland OR. As an entertainer, professional speaker/emcee and TV personality she has been honored to share the stage with Broadway producer Hal Prince, Metropolitan Opera star Frank Guerra, and former Chairman of the Joint Chiefs and former Secretary of State, General Colin Powell.
Linda has also been honored for her contributions to the arts and for nurturing the musical talents of youngsters in the Portland Oregon metro area. She keeps busy as a songwriter/lyricist, poet, and regular On-Air Host for Oregon Public Broadcasting TV Pledge festivals.
She wishes everyone joyous holidays and hopes you'll keep her song in your heart!
