Lisa Nicoll is a singer-songwriter from Brooklyn, NY, who wrote and recorded these songs while living in Savannah, GA. She has been compared to such performers as Juliana Hatfield, Dusty Springfield, and Petula Clark, and finds inspiration in the vocalists of the 1960s, from British Invasion to Brill Building, and by such poets as Rilke and Billy Collins.
Lisa has performed on the same bill as such recording artists as Dennis Diken of The Smithereens, Marshall Crenshaw, and Phoebe Snow. She has also worked as an actress, a voice-over artist, and as a choreographer. She is currently working on a full-length album.
