Liz Seaver is an Irish singer-songwriter from Skerries Co. Dublin. Her debut single 'In Between You And Me' from her upcoming second album 'Turbulent Bliss' went straight to number four in the Irish singer-songwriter charts back in February 2013. Her new album 'Turbulent Bliss' is due for release in June.
In 2012 Liz was nominated for the RTE/RAAP Breakthrough Bursary Award. Also, Liz played on RTE Radio 1's John Murray Stage at The Castlepalooza Festival in the summer of 2012. Also Tom Dunne from Newstalk named Liz as one of his top 10 singer-songwriters of the year with her song 'Inside Out'. This song also made it to the annual semi-final of the International Youbloom Song writing Competition judged by Bob Geldof among others.
Over the years Liz has played support to many irish acts such as Damien Dempsey, Delorentos, Jack L and Iain Archer. Other collaborative projects include working with the multi instrumentalist Donal Lunny and drummer/percussionist Wayne Sheehy in the studio.
Liz released her first studio album 'Til The Day Fades In' at the age of eighteen, shortly after completing her Leaving Certificate exams in 2005. While studying for her Fine Art degree in NCAD, Dublin, Liz continued to write, record and develop her own style of music, drawing on the influences of such artists as PJ Harvey, KT Tunstall and Gemma Hayes to create her own unique blend of acoustic alternative folk -rock as well as heartfelt piano songs. Liz's music has a unique Irish sound with a universal appeal.
