This Haitian / Dominican Singer Songwriter named Lo Diggs (groomed by Chicago, Il and its cold, windy streets) found himself living in the treacherous, heated neighborhoods of Los Angeles, CA (where he polished his distinct sound and image). Lo Diggs, has a way of breathing melodic life into everyday language and delivering it with a distinguished yet rugged feel. When your mentors are Mike Nash and Renee Moore ( music Hit makers from the 80’s), you spend years studying Bill Withers and Smokies’ story telling writing style, Lenny Williams and Aaron Halls Street Edge vocal twang and of course the late Great king of Pop Micheal Jacksons dedication to perfection and expression. WORK While pursuing a Publishing / Artist Deal, Lo Diggs is always looking for major exposure opportunities. He is presently doing several collaborations on albums and mixtapes with newly signed artists from well known labels such as Cash Money, Universal and few others. Lo Diggs affiliated himself with projects featuring BADBOY/ INTERSCOPE and WHOO BANG / CASH MONEY. Established artists have taken time out and considered using Lo Diggs such as D’Angelo, USHER, CHRIS BROWN, NEYO & JAMIE FOX.
PROMO/ Philanthropy Lo Diggs is also closing a double CD entitled “I KNOW LO DIGGS”, which is due to digitally release late Spring 2010. Lo Diggs has an incredible work ethic as he clocks in 8 shows a month that generate on average 200 ticket sales per show ( 4 live stream broadcasts from a local Dj site and 4 live performances at local clubs). After Appearances on several local cable network in Lo Diggs received “Best Independent Artist of the Year Award” from 1580AM after over 3000 radio spins. As a Humanitarian Lo Diggs has donated time and money to “The Study of Early Detection of Respiratory Issues in Children” and “Clean Air filters” for industrial companies in highly populated areas. He believes every child needs at least a deep breath of fresh air. Lo Diggs is a Business Man, Musician, Humanitarian and Environmental Activist.
PAST WORK After winning several local talent shows and showcases in Chicago. Lo Diggs decided to graduate himself to a venue of more than 20,000 fluent people looking to sample food at the annual “TASTE OF CHICAGO”. To have a deeper appreciation for music Lo Diggs decided to study all genres of music and its writers and composers as a music major at the University of Illinois at Urbana. Los Angeles music scene was on fire in 2001 so Lo Diggs immediately started studio hopping being featured on projects like B.E.T classic feature Artisan Film “Blue Hill Avenue” 200 ( which placed him 4 songs in the film and 7 songs on the soundtrack). After a Cameo in The Destiny Child Soldier Video in 2004, Lo Diggs began to promote local clubs on the weekends. He has done voice over backgrounds for an advertising company such as EMU ( Admusic). In 2010, Lo Diggs scored writing and production team credit on the E network, MTV, VH1, Oxygen reality shows such as BAD GIRLS. He also scored several independent Films released by Lions Gate ( Xyrus Entertainment, Tommy Guns / Cinematic Tunes. Lo Diggs is ready for the next level of Success.
