Breathing hip-hop since 1988,this Long Island, New York Emcee, Lockwise is brining Hip-Hop back from the self-destruction. At the early ages of life, Lock was introduced to hip-hop through his father listening to groups like Wu-Tang Clan, Gangstarr, LL Cool J, X-Clan, A Tribe Called Quest, and others. At the age of 9, he started writing his own rhymes, just scratching the surface on his potential skill. Notorious BIG, Nas, Jay-z, Big L, and the LOX, sparked the mind of young Lockwise and made him want to rap for real. Fast Forward to 07, and Lockwise was ready to show his skill to the masses. Featured on Mixtapes by Dj Kool Kid, Dj Green Lantern, and other underground MC's Lockwise is comming full speed in the game. But don’t take my word for it, in July 2007, he released his 1st Official Album: A Good Taste 4 Ya Ears. 20 tracks of razor sharp rhymes and bone crunching beats. He was also featured in RAP Fanatic Magazine as an Independent Threat, and does Monthly Showcases in NYC with them. A Hip-hop head to the fullest form, Lockwise is steadily paving his own way into the game; always coming up with original material and doing open MIC showcases in NYC and Long Island. In December 2007, Lockwise was picked out of thousands by Dj Green Lantern to be on his MYSPACE Invasion2 CD. Steady on his grind, he started Lockwise Productions LLC. And June 1st Released Wise Up Vol.1. The Cd boasts production from Remedy Productions, Mellow Boy Productions, and Aftermath Artist/Producer Mr.Porter.
