Locomotive Ghost is a three piece band steered by singer/songwriter Mike Buckley and propelled by rhythmic duo Ben Nixon and Cortney Osness. Although driven by their project, the trio are first and foremost good friends who have found a common desire to create honest music that reflects their lives. Locomotive Ghost has been forged from a melding of influences, such as Dave Matthews, Bob Dylan, Paul Simon and The Band, but the mix that comes out is a tone all their own.
Locomotive Ghost has recently relocated to Calgary, wherefrom they are engaged with regular performance dates and the expansion of their loyal fan base. The group will be touring the region extensively throughout 2011.
