Mark Loftin is a West Coast-based multi-instrumentalist and composer who has played with indie rock bands Morning Spy, Astral, Foxtail Somersault, Brittany Shane and various side projects. Songs with his contributions have received airplay across North America and Europe - charting on numerous FM and Internet countdowns - and been placed in TV/film productions such as CBS's The Ghost Whisperer and Ebert and Roeper "DVD of the Week" (9/23/07) A Lawyer Walks Into a Bar. Special spins include NPR's All Thing Considered and KALX-FM's Next Big Thing Show. His bands have shared the stage with The Silverson Pickups, The Lilys, Betty Serveert, Holly Miranda and Helio Sequence, and played renown venues such as Los Angeles's Hotel Cafe ("America's 40 Best Music Venues", Paste Magazine), San Francisco's Bottom of the Hill ("Best Place to see live music in San Francisco", Rolling Stone Magazine) and Denver's Hi-Dive ("Best Rock Club in Denver", Westword Magazine).
