As a critic wrote, "What a talented showman extraordinaire.” With a powerful voice and magnetic stage presence, Lou Villano has received praise from the great songstress Julie Budd as saying, “You are a fabulous singer – a major talent.” Lou’s extensive background as a performer covers well over 40 years in entertainment and the performing arts. This CD titled, "Dreams Do Come True," is his first and hopefully the start of more to come. This is something that he has wanted to do for quite some time and he finally made it happen. He didn't want this project to be about one style or one artist, instead he took some of his favorite songs as well as fan favorites and created some great arrangments. The album contains updated versions of "Dream Lover" and "Mr. Bojangles;" an original song "Still in Love" written by writers, Rejean Ferreri and Seth Thomas-Rosenberg; "My Romance;" Paul Anka's "Put Your Head on My Shoulder;" and of course a Frank Sinatra classic, "Luck Be A Lady," and more. This is a fresh and excitng CD for all listeners.
Lou began his career as a night club performer working in the Catskill Mountains, Dangerfield’s, The Rainbow Room in New York City, San Souci on Long Island, The 802 Club in Brooklyn, and The Moulin Rouge on Staten Island. He still goes back to his roots in New York every year performing around the tri-state area including the Catskill Mountains. During his career, he has also enjoyed playing small extra parts in television’s “Law and Order,” “Third Watch,” “Deadline,” “The Sopranos,” and the new USA Network series “Burn Notice.”
Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, Lou relocated to Florida from Long Island in 2005, where he has been performing as one of the top entertainers. His show is "a must see" and this this CD is "a must play."
