Eric Olsen has crafted an outstanding career in both classical and jazz music, as a pianist and organist, composer, and conductor.

Eric has recorded 17 stylistically varied albums, for classical solo, as accompanist with opera singer Kevin Maynor (including the Grammy nominated Black Art Song in 2000), as well as jazz recordings as leader with his groups Urban Survival and Dyad. Eric's latest album, Sea Changes, combines classic melodies with jazz improvisations to create an exciting new art experience that transcends musical boundaries. The album features the Eric Olsen ReVision Quartet, with Don Braden on saxes, Ratzo B. Harris on bass, and Tim Horner on drums. It was released on the Blujazz label. His previous album Dyad Plays Puccini was rated one of the top 50 Jazz CD’s of 2013 by Scott Albin of Jazz Times magazine. You can find out more about that album at Eric has collaborated a host of jazz musicians, notably drummer Billy Hart and saxophonist George Garzone.

Eric Olsen has performed at jazz festivals, with symphony orchestras, and overseas in France, Germany, India, New Zealand, Taiwan, and Fiji. He has composed works for classical and jazz ensembles from chamber groups to full orchestra.
