Since 1981, M.O.T.O. (a.k.a. Masters of the Obvious) have been playing all over North America as well as Europe, Australia, Japan (and most recently China) with their massive sing-along punk rock anthems, earning them a worldwide cult following while amassing a large, varied discography.
The band has undergone numerous lineup changes (as well as being based in New Orleans, Boston and Chicago), but it has always functioned primarily as a platform for leader Paul Caporino's songwriting. This repertoire includes hundreds of songs in a variety of genres (mostly punk rock), but also pop, metal, soul, noise music, garage punk, Americana and new wave.
