Maddie Wilson, Singer Songwriter & Entertainer
Beautiful music flows out of Maddie's soul. Her soulful country singing and writing style have propelled her onto the country music scene in 2012. Her debut EP landed her with a #1 hit on the Indie Country Charts and named as the #1 International indie artist. She recently opened for country stars Chris Young, Katie Arminger, Due West and Jon Pardie.
Maddie's soaring vocals have been described as, producing a "sugar rush to the brain" and eliciting "I thought I was in heaven". After opening for a major country artist both the artist and her manager said their jaws dropped, and they were awe struck, at her amazing performance.
Maddie is an accomplished musician who plays guitar, piano and has a gift for writing and creating catchy, fun and heart warming melodies. Maddie is a small town girl, she loves riding horses, motorbikes, and spending time with family.
Her freshman EP titled "Maddie Wilson" released in early 2012, and takes listeners on a ride of summer fun, stupid boys, young love, tragedy and rodeo girls. The EP includes five originals written by Maddie.
Her song "Skirts" hit the Indie Country Charts in March 2012, and climbed to #1 in June. Skirts is being played on radio stations throughout the US and the world. She was featured by the Independent Music Network and the show was syndicated to hundreds of radio stations around the globe. "Skirts" was also selected for the New Music Weekly upcoming hits CD. To add to the success of Skirts, her songs; Summer Times, Mistie Girl and Lucky One have hit the charts and continue to climb. Lucky One was licensed by Braven Audio and QVC to promote their new wireless speaker products, and was a finalist in two world wide songwriting contests.
Maddie has quickly become in high demand with an active and quickly growing fan base. She is active on social networks with nearly 30,000 fans and followers on Youtube, Facebook and Twitter where she posts music videos and updates.
In March, Carrie Underwood Facebook posted Maddie's video cover of, Carrie's song, "Good Girl". Carrie's team said, "We love this cover".
Maddie has turned down some significant management and label offers so far, and a personal invitation from XFactor to audition for season 2. She is confident that the right opportunities are coming her way and is excited about her country music future!
As an individual artist Maddie has won many singing contests, performed on live radio, at concerts, festivals and professional athletic events. She also performed in Nashville during CMA week.
