Madison Apart formed in 2003. Members of the band came from various parts of Northern Virginia and Madison Apart quickly established a name for themselves by playing just about anywhere they could. In their 1986 Ford Econoline van named "Old Karl", Madison Apart took to the East Coast up until they parted ways in 2009. Madison Apart developed a huge underground fan base and actually caught the attention of numerous independent labels but tensions within the band were rising and Madison Apart decided to split after 7 years of non-stop work.
Fast forward to 2012 and the guys decided to give it another go with their debut EP "Dead by Dawn" released in December of 2012. Lead Singer Jeremy Morehead, Guitarist Zakk Farkas, Guitarist/Backing Vocals Kyle Farley, Bassist Wes Grant, and new comer Drummer Jared Jamieson, created the newly formatted Madison Apart that's alive and kickin' today.
The band has also planned to release an album with all of their older material that was never released before. The band has entitled this album "Throwback" and is releasing it for the many fans that stuck with the band over the years. "Throwback" is very raw with 25 unmixed versions of classic Madison Apart songs. "These songs were barely finished if they were finished at all" says Zakk Farkas, "We just wanted to put it out there for the fans that have requested it over the years...We didn't have the money or the resources to do it before but things are different now and we owe it to the people who have supported us for nearly a decade".
