BIOGRAPHY
Maquis4tet is an experimental jazz group composed of 4 musicians: Daniele “Fedo” Federici vocals, Paolo Falchi guitar, Orazio Aroldi double bass, Massimiliano “Max” Savioli drums.
The Maquis4tet project was born out of a meeting between Paolo Falchi, Orazio Aroldi and Max Savioli, musicians united in a desire to create a strong emotional sound. Music full of feeling extracted from pop, jazz, latin, soul blues and rock, is revisited and rearranged by the the artists, without prejudices or limitations, simply inspired by the heat of the moment. On this album, as often happens in their live performances, Maquis4tet is joined by well known names from the italian jazz scene such as Mauro Negri, Franco Capiluppi and others. Semi-acoustic sounds on this album interestingly create relaxing and stimulating rythmns that are technically challenging.
