Margot Day, singer, songwriter, and flutist. Sometimes we hear the voice of a diva, or a seductive whisper, and sometimes the passionate cry of a wild woman. Her words will touch you, and her melodies will follow you. Margot Day has worked with such luminaries as Bones(Disassociates), Joey(Motograter), Dru (This Ascension), Jim Thirwell(NIN), Nick Zedd, R. Kern, London May(Misfits), Adam Yauch (Beastie Boys), Ira Elliot (Nada Surf), Nick(Farenhieght 451)...

Born into an artistic family, Margot Day was exposed to music, dance, theater, and art as a baby. She travel round the world soaking in global music. Playing Bach on the flute by age 11 she was considered a child prodigy. Then going on to studying Opera at Bard college and creating her own original music

Margot Day released a solo CD self-titled(sold out), and the golden SACRED! CD. Unique powerful songs had her music in the top 10 at KCPR and receiving increasing play on college stations (WRUV, WGDR, WVBR, WCAT, WUSB, WJUL, KCPR, WRAS, WPTS, WPCR, WNMH, CKMS, WWPW...) across the States and on the internet. And a review in the Futures section of the CMJ new music report. Outburn wrote "unusual and unexpected.. remarkable". Day also fronted the band Ladybug. Day’s first band “The Plague” recorded the album Naraka which received regular college radio airplay (#1 at KMSA, WKKL) and intense press and is considered a classic by many. As lead singer for The Plague, Margot Day was part of the genesis of the NYC lower eastside scene, and a strong force in goth and the underground – rubbing elbows with Rob Zombie, Sonic Youth, the Swans, Bad Brains, Of a Mesh….. Mick Mercer wrote about Day, "Impressively Disorientating, Spookily Effective...Saucy!”

Day also fronted the band Ladybug. Performances in NYC: Limelight, CBGB's, Lismar Lounge, The Pyramid, Alchemy, The Bank, etc... Santa Barbara, San Diego, LA, SF, New England, Seattle, Salt lake City, Boulder CO, Dallas, Austin, San Antonio, Portland, Trillium Theater in West Virginia... Currently Margot Day’s music is playing ‘round the globe.
