In 2007, "Stranger Blues" was postulated at the Premios Carlos Gardel (Buenos Aires, Argentina) as Mejor CD Jazz 2007 (Best Jazz CD).
"Born in Vicksburg", a blues introduced in this album, was semifinalist at The Lakeside Blues Festival (Puistoblues), Järvenpää, Finland, 2007.
