Mark Bodino

Biography

Mark’s musical and vocal versatility gives him a broad range of styles from modern folk to hard rock to ballads. From track to track his guitar work is intricate and searing, light and expressive, tasteful and melodic. The best description of his overall sound may be a melding of the past – David Gilmore, Neil Young, Chris Isaak and Bob Dylan – with the added “pop texture” of the present. “I try to bring the listener to another place, as if leading them down a dark corridor or toward something typically peripheral or unveiled”. Whether fragmented or continuous, Mark’s lyrics are full of imagery and color, influencing the listener beyond the medium of just sound.

Mark’s performances have been well received in a variety of settings including pubs, bookstores, and coffee houses throughout the Manhattan/New Jersey/Philadelphia area. Mark performs both as a solo artist and with a group, racking up over 100 performances yearly. He is a mature and accomplished performer.
Mark has appeared on Channel 12’s “Jersey Talking” as well as WOR’s nationally syndicated Joey Reynold’s Show. His music has also been featured on Billy Zero’s “Radar Report” XM Satellite program, syndicated through Washington DC.
