Began playing in bands and writing songs while a high school student in Taiwan during the 60s. Continued to write songs and play music while attending colleges in Maryland, DC, and Virginia. Moved to Los Angeles in 1977, and began recording there, later organizing/fronting The Spellbinders. Relocated back to the Washington, DC, area in 1983, forming/fronting The Marksmen and later The Redeemers.
Released June 30, 2010, on Lucid Veil Records: 10-song CD titled "It Happened One Evening" -- a retrospective blend of chamber pop, lo fi, and progressive rock -- recording spanned some years, the first group of songs being completed in Hollywood, and the balance later in DC. Remixed/mastered this year. Musicians playing on songs recorded in Hollywood included Peter Case (The Plimsouls, The Nerves); Patrick Jones (The Red Rockers); and Glen Laughlin (The Dickies). Instruments: piano, organ, synthesizer.
