Dr. Marlon Hestick is an author, lecturer, teacher, government consultant and leadership mentor. He has spent the last twenty-five years traveling the world training leaders in business, education, government and religion.
He has 25 years of experience speaking, counseling and coaching young people and adult groups in youth camps and conferences in Guyana, the Caribbean and USA and has worked with Haitian, American, Trinidadian, Barbadian, Surinamese, Korean and other youth groups.
Dr. Hestick is the Founder President of Man-to-Man Ministries. This includes the Man-to-Man Foundation that grants scholarships to underprivileged boys attending the University of Guyana and a weekly Television program, Man-to-Man, that targets men and their development issues.
He is also Co-Founder and Executive Member of the Men Empowerment Network, a national body that ministers to the needs of men in Guyana, especially in the effort to curb domestic violence. M.E.N. collaborates with the government of Guyana through the Ministry of Human Services and Social development.
Dr Hestick is President of Wesleyan Bible College and pastor of the Vreed-en-Hoop Wesleyan Church, a church with a congregation of over four hundred members.
He has been married to Marva, a public school principal, mathematics consultant and adult education specialist for twenty-four years. They have three children: Marnice, Vaon-Marc and Shaphan.
