Martians on Maui

BIOGRAPHY

Martians on Maui is the solo project of soundtrack composer Pete Lamberty. Pete has been composing electronic music for over 30 years without apologies. He has played, and shared songwriting credits with Fountainhead, Madcap, (Seattle bands), Freeze-dried Soul, Katie Naylor, and the Xploding Boys, (Portland), and the Suburban Cannibals, (SF). Pete was a Music Theory and Composition major, and studied electronic music and piano under Dr. Philippe DeLaMare at the University of Portland. He also took instruction in pipe organ performance at the Mozarteum Residence in Salzburg, Austria. He is currently working with music publishing companies in Boston, NY and LA. His compositions can be heard on numerous Viacom productions. Lamberty's musical profile has been featured on MTV.com by contributing writer Marq Elias.
