Martin Blasick

Biography

The writer of Lindsey Lohan's "Don't Move On" from Confessions Of A Teenage Drama Queen and the producer of "Miracles Happen" from the Princess Diaries 2 soundtrack steps out with his debut solo CD. Martin Blasick has been writing and producing music for film and television since a cue landed in Earth Girls Are Easy in the late 80's. He was also the lead singer and songwriter in Velvet whose debut cd in 1995 was one of the very first enhanced cd's.

Tracks have been percolating in the Blasick studio all the while. And as Martin experimented with song choices, he saw an opportunity to combine his love of ecology with the fun of music and an ethic of giving back for a "whole life" approach. 10% of single and cd sales will be donated to a green charity. The song Mother Mine deals directly with environmental issues.

Martin is currently playing stages around Los Angeles and shooting videos to spread the fun times with a sprinkling of social consciousness.
