Born and raised in the Inland Empire, California, Mary grew up singing in church and playing guitar for her youth group, KLUB. As a young girl, she took piano lessons, but fell in love with the guitar. She was just nine years old when she would sit down with the high schoolers in her daddy's youth group and help lead praise and worship. After graduating high school, she attended Westmont College and transferred to California State University, Long Beach, earning a bachelor's degree in Political Science.
Mary and her husband Russ have made a life together, serving the Lord in various capacities. The greatest ministry with which she has been blessed has been the raising and home schooling of her four children. During this journey, music and worship again became a very integral part of her life, teaching guitar and taking children to sing at nursing and foster care homes.
Currently, Mary is the worship leader at a small church in Moreno Valley, California. She has lead worship for women's Bible studies, church retreats and has been part of a number of worship teams. She finds joy in turning her journal entries into songs and has written many worship songs.
Her first song release is a Christmas song, inspired by the birth of Jesus Christ and the massive love His coming brought. She is currently in studio finishing up her first album, inspired by the entries from her heart and pages from her journal, making it her love letter to the Lord.
