Matt Heller is a singer-songwriter raised in the Arizona desert and now based in the San Francisco Bay Area. He writes lyrical story songs that burrow into the political and the personal, mapping the heart and casting stones and spit at the betrayals and corruption of our times. This is music from the ground up that eschews compromise and cliche.
His new album Streamline was mixed and mastered by Fen Ikner and features guitarist Andrew Reissiger and bassist Henry Kyburg, with contributions from Yank Clewell, John Christian, and Jennifer Choi. Streamline is his first solo CD.
Matt also plays with the band Sloatbucket.
