MAURICE HORNE is a keyboard composer, performer and music publishing artist. Maurice composes and produces music CDs in his recording studio. He has degrees in music and law and, having retired from his legal work, is expanding his music on the Internet. Maurice performs on two electronic keyboards with multiple racks and samplers, stereo effects processors, mixers and digital recorders. These musical nuances provide Maurice with unlimited opportunities to share many sounds in combination. His works have been on CD Baby since 2001 and have spread to iTunes, Amazon, Rhapsody, Spotify, and numerous other sites reflected in a google search of his name.
With the capacity to record his grand piano in HD on You Tube, he has placed a number of music videos at Maurice Horne:Music Originals. See www.youtube.com/user/mauricehorne
His most recent CD "Hope for Tomorrow - Traditional Hymns" was composed in different manner than past music CDs. Using his MacBook Pro, Logic Pro X, and a keyboard controller, a vast new collection of sounds were utilized in this new recording. Since, particularly on iTunes, Internet interest has been more extensive on his previous hymn albums, this new one presents some of the most familiar traditional hymns with new sounds. He has established a web site at http://www.mauricehorne.com In 2012 he published two new CDs: "Destinations" and "Songs of Remembrance." In January 2013 he released his first single "You are the One."
He currently has numerous CDs on his website and CD Baby and began offering his compositions on CD Baby in 2001 with "Soundscapes." Each year has brought forth a new music CD. Most of the original CDs have a particular theme. All offer varied musical settings with each piece. The CDs have a shared theme--relaxing music for a meditative experience.
In addition to playing his music keyboards and grand piano and continuing to develop his new Internet site, he enjoys his extensive book collection, exercising, participation in his Church, working with computers--particularly with music composition software and digital photography, and the 'wonders' of our New World--reading, listening, getting the latest news from his iPad Air, iPhones, and iPod and in 2013 his MacBook Pro. How did we live without those in the past?
Maurice's fond hope is that you will enjoy his music and let him know by the email on his web site.
