Maurice Horne

MAURICE HORNE is a keyboard composer, performer and music publishing artist. He has degrees in music and law and, having retired from his legal work, is expanding his music and creative interests on the Internet. His works have been on CD Baby since 2001 and have spread to iTunes, Amazon, Rhapsody, Spotify, and numerous other sites reflected in a google search of his name.

See www.youtube.com/user/mauricehorne for numerous individual presentations of poetry, video and music composed by Maurice. YouTube's capacity to carry HD music provided Maurice with the first successful opportunity to perform some of his songs on his grand piano which was not easily recorded previously.

His latest music CD on his website, CD Baby and other sites is "Here is the Dream - Songs of Love." This album contains fifteen original romantic ballads simply presented on piano. In January 2015, he released "Supernova," which he designed to invoke thoughts of the vast Universe and our place in it. In his novella and eBook "Worlds Apart (One God, Many Worlds) Enlarged 2nd Edition," he has written on this subject with astronomy, theology, and creation of the Universe explored in some depth. The eBook is on numerous Internet sites reflected at www.mauricehorne.com and a paperback version is available only on Amazon. Search the title as "Enlarged 2nd Edition."

His novella was followed by a 'companion' music CD entitled "Visions of Worlds Apart" which he describes as unstructured music for spiritual meditation. This one is somewhat like 'binaural beats.' Earphones are recommended for total relaxation. There is a uniqueness to each selection.

His 2004 CD "Hope for Tomorrow - Traditional Hymns" contains numerous familiar hymns. Since, particularly on iTunes, Internet interest has been more extensive on his previous hymn albums, this new one presents some of the most familiar traditional hymns with new sounds. See the full description at www.cdbaby.com/cd/mauricehorne3

He has established a web site at http://www.mauricehorne.com In 2012 he published two CDs: "Destinations" and "Songs of Remembrance." In January 2013 he released his first single "You are the One." His initial release on CD Baby in 2001 was a unique "Soundscapes." Each year has brought forth a new music CD. Most of the original CDs have a particular theme. All offer varied musical settings with each piece; however, the CDs have a shared theme--relaxing music for a meditative experience.

Maurice's fond hope is that you will enjoy his music and let him know by the email on his web site. (mauricehorne9@gmail.com)
