Biography

Maxi Dunn is a singer/songwriter from Liverpool, England which spans a twenty year musical history! Starting out in bands at the mere age of eighteen and treading the boards of the Liverpool music scene for eight years, until she took a long break to have her family! Ten years later in 2007, Maxi returned to music after she recorded a couple of tribute songs for a small record label in the USA.

Following that in December 2007 a Christmas EP entitled "Winter Ghost" was released on her own label! Maxi was in the middle of recording her debut album "Gravitational Seed" when there was a relationship breakdown with her long term partner and soon after the loss of a further relationship/friendship & love! Both leaving her totally devastated!

Maxi pulled herself together and began to record a set of songs in January 2009, with a great bunch of musicians! This developed into what was to become her debut album "Welcome To Soonville".

Recruiting, Peter Hackett, (Cult of Wedge), Coke Belda & Roque Esteban ( Spanish Power Pop Band Cokeroque) and Paul "Tiga" Wright, they between them have created a stunningly beautiful, haunting, debut album!
