Melanie grew up in a Christian home, grounded by faith, and began her love for gospel music at the age of 10 years old.
In her own words: "I believe music is a wonderful and graceful way of spreading God's message of salvation and never ending love to all people, young and old."
Melanie sings mostly Southern Gospel accompanied by sound tracks or with several of her musician friends. Her performances overflow with heartfelt love for God and gratitude that He has chosen her to bring His message to His people. Now, as a recording artist, with the help of Reggie Duncan of Highway 44 Records, in McComb, Mississippi, Melanie has several singles on the charts.
Melanie is happily married to her husband, Daryl. Her older son Destin is making a name for himself in the film industry with his own movie props enterprise. Her younger son Jered and his cousin Cole like to join Melanie in singing the gospel at many of her appearances.
