BIOGRAPHY
Melissa Emily Mitchell was born on August 17, 1983 and raised in New York City. She is a passionate writer who has been writing contemporary poetry since 1997. Her first poems were inspired by her journal entries and random thoughts. Over time, the subject matter of her poetry intensified as her experiences with love and life deepened. "Come Into My Place: A Collection of Love Poems" is Melissa’s first collection of work. This collection, first published as a paperback book in May 2011, will be released as an audio book and spoken word album in February 2013. Future projects by Melissa Emily Mitchell include the development of her company HerSoulXpressions LLC, a Delaware Limited Liability Creative Arts & Publishing Company, poetry on wall art, and an e-greeting card product line.
