Biography

Melissa Page is a musician, writer, artist and Nia instructor based in Melbourne Australia and California USA. Melissa studied Drama and English Literature at university before embarking on a rich musical journey of songwriting, live performance and studio recording. In the early years, Melissa sang with "Sophie Raymond & the Fat Chops" in Melbourne Australia, "The Neutrinos" in Bolinas California and "Breez'n" in San Diego before teaching herself guitar and focusing on a solo music career. She has performed throughout London, California and Melbourne, collaborating with many talented artists along the way including Todd Boston, Bryan Schroeder, Sophie Raymond, Joey Muller, Gary Boggs, James Moseley, Shane Belcourt and Neil McPherson. Melissa is best known for her soulful, harmonic vocals, her lyrical compositions and her raw, authentic stage presence. Her extensive repertoire of songs covers a range of genres including pop, rock, soul, blues, jazz, dance, electronica, folk and children's music. Melissa recently spent a year performing with "VoKallista" acappella choir in Melbourne's Dandenong Ranges and is currently rekindling her love for playing the piano.
