Imagine if you will a dark room filled with people, the sound of two guitars strumming seperate patterns but together in time and as Tyler creates a rhythmic edge that is like a strumming beat, Melody sings like a fallen angel painting a picture of a haunted past to a rock and roll anthem with acoustic guitars. This is a night at a Melody and Tyler show.
Sometimes you can dance, sometimes you can sing, but always, you can be entertained. The banter on the stage gets a laugh, and the songs, (mostly originals) can yank a memory of a time when you felt exactly the same way and suddenly you feel that Melody and Tyler are people you have known forever. Compare them to Matthew Nathanson, Jack Johnson, Matt Kearney, or Sarah McLaughin if you must, but make no mistake, they can rock with the best of them, and play their own brand of music.
So buy them a drink, stay a while, and tell your friends.
