Mended grasps a simple concept. They are a duo that have seen how God has worked in their lives, continue to learn and hope to share that very message with others. Consisting of two songwriters the loaded, worship-rock songs come together in a puzzle like approach that complements both artists very well. The music Cody writes becomes the setting to the stories Ashley portrays.
It's beyond getting a name for themselves. Mended is all about reaching out. More copies of their debut album, "Triumphant", were given away than sold. Mended is more than two individual musicians. They are striving to show others that their lives do not need to be broken.
2013 brings new light to the small-town Kentucky duo as they once again strive to up the bar. Three years of writing morphed into the end result of what was to become their first album. Now, mere months after it's initial release, they are at it again, bringing forth new music. This is not an attempt to redo or even outdo their first release, but simply add to their collection of songs that bring a message of hope and understanding that we are not alone, we can be brought into the light. All we have to do is ask for His help.
