Michael A. Williams

Michael Anthony Williams (born August 31, 1966 in Memphis, Tennessee USA) is a singer-songwriter, producer, musician who plays acoustic soul music.
Williams started his music journey while attending Colonial Jr. High School, in Memphis Tennessee.
Williams listened to and performed gospel music with his siblings, but it wasn't until later years he discovered other genres of music.
After playing bass and trumpet for several years, Williams received scholarship offers in music and athletics but chose to attend Austin Peay State University on a football scholarship.
He soon realized that he couldn't devote his time to music, so he chose to concentrate on football and pick up music gigs occasionally. After a extensive absence from music, Williams rediscovered his passion in 2009.
Although Michael is gaining a reputation for being a versatile singer-song writer, his real talent lies in playing every instruments on his music.
Williams musical influences includes the talents of Jimi Hendrix, James Taylor, Earl Klugh, John Mayer, Bill Withers and Paul McCartney.
