BIOGRAPHY

Six times Grammy elected Australian blues artist, Michael Charles adds “Going Down” the second CD single in the “Under the Covers” series, to his twenty-seven release discography.
As with MC’s performances and recordings his guitar is kept forefront and is the driving force behind his music.
Brought to America by legendary Buddy Guy and his management, Charles launched his U.S. music career working the whole Chicago blues circuit performing with Mr. Buddy Guy, Phil Guy, James Cotton, Eddy Clearwater, Junior Wells, George Baze, as well as touring with one more blues legend, Jimmy Dawkins.
Featured in numerous television broadcasts and several music magazines, MC graced countless of stages and pages including WGN TV, JBTV, The Other Sides, Rock My Ass, Canadian Breakfast Television, College Music Journal, and Rock and Read, gaining notoriety in the USA and Canada.
At the present time MC travels his Road Dawg 2012 tour which will take him to the far corners of the USA and Canada. The 2012 Road Dawg Tour promises a multitude of concerts and publicity appearances as Charles performs a whole new list of cities, festivals, and nightspots and revisits some favorite venues from the last four tours.
