Marcum’s signature-mix of classical, new age, pop, R&B piano/keyboard licks blend seamlessly into a style that is melodic and heartfelt....yet creates a wonderfully exciting backdrop for the strong R&B, Pop stylings of MIKEY G's rich and powerful vocals; a combination that bridges the generation gap to provide their wide fan base with performances that exude elegance, passion, and excitement.
Their most recent compositions, recorded at Paramount Studios in Los Angeles, CA, in April 2010 with engineer Erik Reichers, showcase the depth and emotion each is capable of generating with their respective 'instruments', culminating in the soulful new singles, 'You're the One' and 'Your Love'. Well versed in both stage and studio work, Marcum, who is Pro Tools certified, has several CD's to his credit....and Mikey G and Marcum have both worked with grammy-award winning engineer Eric Schilling at The Hit Factory/Criteria Studios in Miami, FL. Mikey G's first CD, which he co-wrote with Marcum, was released in 2005....when he was just 15 years old!
Seasoned artists, Marcum has placed music with Harpo Productions and CBS and is currently the music supervisor on a full length film which begins filming in late summer. He and Mikey G have an extensive catalog of original material and have performed both solo and together in an eclectic variety of venues, from the Pisana Palace in Rome, Italy to opening for Norah Jones on the Good Morning America Show....and most points in between.
