BIOGRAPHY

Michael St. George is a Canadian multi-media performance dub poet. A native of Jamaica and inspired by his working-class upbringing, Michael focuses his work on the themes of justice and social equity. He has been performing live and recording his music since 1985. Michael's unique performances and workshops are both inspirational and catalytic, addressing issues relevant to children's lives today. Michael's recordings include 3 CDs, Dubbin De Vibes, Self Assession and Root 2 Fruit as well as a collection of poems in Night Spin.
