Mick was born in the town of Cobh, Co. Cork, Ireland. He was heavily involved in the music business there throughout the '70s and early '80s when he moved to the UK. Mick was one of the founder members of the folk-rock band Tingumajig who were local radio favourites in the early part of the '80s. They opened for some of the big Irish names at the time such as Moving Hearts.
Throughout this time, and since, Mick has been working as a solo artist and writing stories, plays, etc. as well as songs.
His debut solo CD, DENNIS REGAN was released in 2009 and sold well throughout the UK, US and Ireland.
Mick is a firm believer in the simple life and doesn't believe that a 48 inch High Definition TV screen with 3D capability is the key to living and enjoying life!!!!!
