Miguel Gonzalez has been performing for thirty two years.
His musical career started in Caracas, Venezuela when at an early age he attended the "National Conservatory of Music" (cello and music theory) and Cepro Music School (Classical guitar and music theory)
While studying classical guitar, cello and music theory he realized his talents were in jazz and other forms of popular music. He enrolled at the "Ars Nova School" in Caracas for Jazz. After his graduation, his talent and versatility soon afforded him the opportunity of performing internationally with famous South American artists as well as with his own jazz trio, Fusion 2000. Miguel's teachers include: Alex Rodriguez, Argelia Martinez, Gonzalo Mico and the legendary Charlie Banacos.
As well as being an accomplished musician, he has also participated in the academic arena as a music educator.
In 1997, Miguel came to New York City where he performed, recorded and taught before coming to South Florida.
In the year 2005, Miguel performed at the National Guitar Workshop New Milford, Connecticut Jazz Summit, with the guitarist John Scofield who perform with Pat Metheny, Herbie Hancock Gerry Mulligan and Chet Baker and others.
