BIOGRAPHY

Mimi Tricia Snider: Jazz vocalist; doubles on percussion; released self-produced vocal jazz CD “Thank you, Merci” in 2009 and co-produced her recent single release “Reach Out For Me/This Girl’s In Love” (2012). Performed in the Vancouver International Jazz Festivals (2006, 2007, 2008, 2009) with Russ Botten, Tony Foster and Joe Poole promoting "Thank you, Merci." Performed in Vancouver and Toronto jazz clubs as solo artist. Backup vocalist and supporting percussionist in drum ensembles for numerous Toronto festivals, the Premier Dance Theatre (Fleck Dance Theatre), DuMaurier Theatre (Enwave Theatre) and the Governor General Awards. Receives inspiration from the beauty of British Columbia including niece and nephew, as well as theatre, film, and music from B.C. and from across the globe. Photo by Greg King.
